AUDIO STUFF - VideoHelper VH 13.0 - HAPPY, SAD & STUPID

Divided into three sections, this disc starts with the "Happy" cuts. With tracks like "Bayou Drugs", an up-tempo amalgam of country and rap (a genre of music known as "Crap"), "Celtic Afro", melding Celtic wind instruments with African percussion; all the way to "Alarming", a pulsing anthem featuring Jason's favorite guitar sounds ever. Who's Jason? We're not really sure, either. A "Sad" section takes you from the dreamy, sad hybrid of Suzanne Cianni and Pink Floyd ("Jacquie's Mild Depression"), to Seal on downers ("Seal Clubbing") -- it's the aural equivalent of watching "Brian's Song" -- 67 times. Finally, we're probably most proud of our "Stupid" segment. Ranging from "Bad H.S. Marching Band", which sounds exactly the way you'd expect a group of braces-wearing, puberty-stricken youths with rented instruments to sound -- all the way to "Arcadia", a horrifically cheesy homage to early 80's video game music. This disc was released November 1, 1998 (61Cuts)
