We let Brazilian percussionist Mauro Refosco (David Byrne's touring percussionist) and bassist Marco Ahtisaari do what they do best -- bang on things. And they did. From the testosterone-laden first cut ('Rage Machine') to the fast-paced 'Driving Percussion,' to even the happy and catchy-as-its-namesake 'The Clap' -- they covered a wide range of emotions and tempos. Not to mention a wide range of instrumentation -- from slinkys ('Spring Vacation'), to air conditioning ducts ('Alive in the Wreckage'), to water bottles (the brilliantly-named 'Bottle').
